Lohse pitched eight strong innings for his first win in eight starts, Carlos Gomez hit a two-run homer on his bobblehead day and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 9-1 on Sunday. "I had a good slider working today," Lohse said after his longest outing of the season. "Im finally coming back around where I can snap it off. And Maldy (catcher Martin Maldonado) called a great game and the guys played great defence. So it was just a combination of everything."
