That familiar bell toll will be heard on Tuesdays 900th episode of WWE Smackdown when The Undertaker makes his return. The Phenom has been absent from WWE television since defeating Shane McMahon in a hard-hitting Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania 32 in April. But he will make a special appearance on a landmark episode of the blue brand, a show you can catch live on Sports 5 at 1am (Wednesday morning). Live WWE: Late Night - Smackdown November 16, 2016, 1:00am Live on Get Sky Sports Get a Sky Sports pass Ahead of his comeback, we look at what The Deadman may have planned…Compete in the ringThe Undertaker wrestled on the first episode of Smackdown - The Phenom teaming with Triple H to take on The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in April 1999 - while he has also fought on many of the brands milestone shows, including on edition No 500 against John Bradshaw Layfield. Will The Undertaker wrestle on this weeks Smackdown? Therefore, it would be fitting if Taker dusted of his wrestling garb in Pennsylvania this week. Smackdown fans will be crying out for it, too, as it has been well over three years since he last wrestled on the show - the veteran overcoming Dean Ambrose at Londons O2 Arena in April 2013. Take out that match and Takers last bout in a Smackdown ring was against CM Punk, way back in October 2010 in Oklahoma.Team with KanePrior to his clash with McMahon at The Show of Shows this spring, Undertakers previous WWE contest came a year ago at the 2015 edition of Survivor Series, as he banded with half-brother Kane to defeat Bray Wyatt and The Eater of Worlds minion, Luke Harper. Kane has had his issues with Wyatt and Harper of late, too, as well as Randy Orton, who appears to have become fully embedded in The Wyatt Family. WWE Rewind: Survivor Series 2015 Kane and The Undertaker defeated The Wyatt Family Perhaps its time for Kane and his fellow Brother of Destruction, Undertaker, to join forces and put The Wyatts in their place again? Yet, could they instead challenge Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Heath Slater and Rhyno, and aim for their fourth title reign as a duo?Fight KaneUndertaker and Kanes relationship is somewhat akin to the one shared by former Oasis siblings Liam and Noel Gallagher - they have their good moments but there are plenty of bust-ups, too. The Phenom and The Big Red Monster have seen eye-to-eye for a while now, with their last match against each other coming at the Bragging Rights pay-per-views in 2010 when The Nexus helped Kane beat The Undertaker in a Buried Alive match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Kane is also set to appear on Smackdowns 900th episode It would, however, not take much for animosity to build between the brothers, something that could perhaps set up a third WrestleMania showdown between the two, following Takers wins in 1998 and 2004.Mix it with McMahonWhile Takers whereabouts since WrestleMania are unknown - besides when he met up with Cleveland Cavaliers to help the basketball outfit celebrate their winning first NBA Title - Shane McMahon has been a key figure on Tuesday nights in his job as Smackdown Commissioner. McMahon on Team Smackdown Blue-brand Commissioner to wrestle at Survivor Series The 46-year-old will put the match-making to one side at Survivor Series on Sunday when he wrestles for his brand against Team Raw, something he will surely address when he guests on Tuesdays episode of The Cutting Edge, hosted, of course, by WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Could The Undertaker appear on the show, too, to give McMahon some words of encouragement - or even challenge him to a tune-up match?Add himself into Survivor SeriesThe Undertakers in-ring debut for WWE came at Survivor Series in 1990, The Phenom making his mark by eliminating Koko. B Ware and Dusty Rhodes. The WWE legend has gone on to make a record 18 Survivor Series appearances - one more than Shawn Michaels - and landed 13 wins, including beating Hulk Hogan to win his first WWE Title in 1991. The Undertaker defeated Hulk Hogan on his second appearance at Survivor Series So if he fancies another bout at WWEs Fall Classic, no-one is really going to say no - even if the list of potential opponents has shortened with Brock Lesnar and Goldberg facing each other and most of the companys other top names competing in the evenings Raw versus Smackdown tussles. What do you think The Undertaker will do on Smackdowns 900th episode? SAN FRANCISCO -- St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Mike Leake will duel the guy the San Francisco Giants chose to replace him during the winter when he opposes Jeff Samardzija on Saturday night in a key matchup in the National League wild-card race.Leake was acquired by the Giants from the Cincinnati Reds at the trade deadline.San Francisco paid a hefty price -- outfielder Adam Duvall has turned into a 30-homer player -- but the defending champs were trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers atop the NL West at the time and thought they needed to do something. It didnt work. Leake went just 2-5 with a 4.07 ERA in nine starts and the Giants, who trailed LA by a half-game on the day of the trade, wound up eight back.Leake, a free agent at seasons end, wasnt invited back. He went to the Cardinals on a five-year, $80 million deal. The Giants then turned around and invested $10 million more in Samardzija on a five-year agreement.Neither high-priced acquisition has impressed, and thats one reason both teams find themselves battling for wild-card playoff spots rather than division titles.Samardzija has gone 11-10 with a 4.07 ERA in 29 starts for the Giants (79-68), who trail the Dodgers (83-64) by four game atop the West with 15 to play.Perhaps more important, the Giants have used two series-opening wins to open a three-game lead over the Cardinals (76-71) in the NL wild-card race.Leake, meanwhile, is 9-10 with a 4.60 ERA in 27 starts for the Cardinals, who have fallen two games behind the New York Mets (78-69) in the race for the second wild-card spot.We just have to play bettter, thats all there is to it, Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said.dddddddddddd The standings are the standings, and we know what they are. You cant run from them. The standings say were right there, so just keep playing the game. The pitching head-to-head is critical to each pitcher because both seem to be getting worse as the games get more important.Samardzija is just 3-6 with a 5.09 ERA in his last 15 starts, with the Giants losing 10 of the 15 games.Leake has gone 2/3 with a 6.15 ERA in his last eight outings, with the Cardinals losing five of the eight. If Leake is out for revenge, he should be comforted in the surroundings. Hes 6-1 with a 3.07 ERA in nine outings (eight starts) at AT&T Park in San Francisco and 5-2 overall against the Giants with a 5.02 ERA in nine games (eight starts). He has not faced the Giants this season.Leake must hope for better support than Fridays Cardinals starter, Luke Weaver, who was pulled before the end of a six-run third inning during which a key error by catcher Yadier Molina made all the runs unearned.Thats what you want to do, Giants first baseman Brandon Belt said after the win, take advantage of mistakes.Samardzija pitched June 4 at St. Louis and was the losing pitcher in a 7-4 defeat. Four Cardinals -- Brandon Moss, Aledmys Diaz, Stephen Piscotty and Matt Adams -- homered off him in his five innings. The ex-Cub is 4-4 with a 4.61 ERA in 20 career games (nine starts) against the Cardinals.
