Microsoft Project is a project management software program product advanced and sold by Microsoft. It is designed to assist project managers to create schedules, allocate resources to tasks, track progress, manage budgets, and analyze workloads. Microsoft Project was the company's third Microsoft Windows-based application. Within some years of its launch, it became a mainstream PC-based project management software program.
